Summer Reading Program 2016: On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!
Everything YOU need to know about this year's Summer Reading Program
The LeClaire Community Library Summer Reading Program starts June 6th through July 23rd, with registration starting May 23rd.
How to participate:
1. For every 140 minutes read (just 20 minutes a day for one week), stop by the library with your reading log and pick up a prize. When you reach 560 minutes, you can pick out a free book from the library!
2. Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers can sign up for our Early Literacy program. Families complete activities together to earn prizes. Sign up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten as well!
3. Attend programs! We have a full month of fun planned for all ages—from weekly storytimes to special guest performers. To see a full list of all of our planned summer reading activities, check out our all ages Summer Reading Events calendar HERE or download a pdf of our children's summer reading brochure HERE.
